The Blend - 5 years strong! June 5 is Community Blend Day! We’re celebrating with a Thank You Brunch for everyone who has supported, partnered with, or participated in our programs. Agency partners will host information tables for guests to explore.

Stop in for brunch between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. RSVP preferred. 

Five Years of Gratitude and God's Faithfulness

As we approach June 5, my heart is full. Community Blend is turning five years old, and when I look back at all that has happened, one word rises above the rest: grateful.

What began as a simple dream—to create a place where people could gather, feel seen, and grow—has become a living, breathing community. Over these five years, we’ve watched friendships form over cups of coffee, prayers whispered at café tables, and lives strengthened through classes, conversations, and shared moments of hope.

Our café gatherings have become a place where stories are exchanged, burdens are lightened, and joy is multiplied. Week after week, people walk through our doors and find connection, encouragement, and a sense of belonging. It’s more than coffee; it’s community.

Our programs and classes have grown beyond anything we imagined. From Bible studies to fitness classes, from senior gatherings to workshops that equip and inspire—each one reflects the heart of our mission: to create a space where people can learn, grow, and experience God’s love in practical, meaningful ways.

And none of this would be possible without the generosity of our donors, partners, agencies, and program participants. You have prayed, given, volunteered, collaborated, and believed in this mission. You’ve helped us serve thousands of cups of coffee, offer countless hours of classes, and provide ongoing support to those in need. You’ve helped us become a place where hospitality and hope meet.

But above all, we recognize that every good thing we’ve experienced has come from God. His faithfulness has carried us, guided us, and provided for us at every turn.

As we celebrate our five‑year anniversary and Community Blend Day, we pause to remember that God has been our source, our strength, and our steady foundation. He has woven together people, resources, opportunities, and moments in ways only He can.

So today, we say thank you—to God, and to each of you who have walked this journey with us.

Here’s to five years of connection, compassion, and community. And here’s to all that God has yet to do.
