Easter Reflection: Hope That Rises

Easter invites us into a story that never grows old—a story of renewal, redemption, and a love stronger than death itself. As we move through this sacred season, we’re reminded that the same power that rolled away the stone still moves in our lives today. It lifts weary hearts, restores what felt broken, and calls us into a hope that rises.

At Community Blend, we see glimpses of resurrection every day. It shows up in shared laughter over coffee, in friendships formed around tables, in prayers whispered for one another, and in the simple but sacred act of showing up. When people gather with open hearts, new life always follows.

Easter tells us that darkness never has the final word. God’s love reaches into every shadowed place and brings light, healing, and purpose. And as a community, we get to reflect that love—through hospitality, generosity, and the way we walk alongside one another.

This season, may we slow down long enough to notice the signs of new life around us. May we celebrate the God who makes all things new. And may we continue to be a place where hope is shared freely and where every person is reminded that they matter.

Prime Timers – May Gathering

Our Prime Timers group will be creating a Community Blend Recipe Book at the May meeting. Participants are invited to bring a favorite recipe to share. These recipes will be enjoyed at the potluck lunch and then collected into a keepsake booklet for everyone.

Bible Studies

Our Bible studies are nearing the end of the semester. It has been a rich season of learning, fellowship, and spiritual growth. Stay tuned—details on our summer and fall offerings will be announced soon.
