Happy New Year?

January 1st marks a new calendar year, but for schools and ministries our new year begins in September. We have a lot of exciting things going on at Community Blend.

The cafe has welcomed numerous community residents. Talking with them, sharing burdens, praying together, and seeing them prevail through hard times, is a gift from God for which we are grateful. This reciprocal blessing encourages our ministry. The cafe is home base for Community Blend. Our partnership with The Chapel, who hosts our nonprofit mission, is also something we are grateful to God for harmonizing.

Our programs welcome all. As we see relationships build, it confirms that gathering and learning together about the hope we have in Christ is key for all people.

Bible study groups are on a two week break and resume the third week of September

beginning the 15th, 18th, and 19th.

• Thursdays - 9:00 am at The Chapel - room 114

• Fridays - noon at the Washington Alliance Church - Fellowship Hall

• Prayer and Share - Thursdays - 11:15-12:15

• Mom's Meet -Wednesdays at 10 in the nursery areas

• Knitters Group - Fridays at 10 am at the Cafe.

• Prime timers Potluck- first Wednesday of each month

• Community Blend's teambuilder retreat - Oct 17-19

• Christmas Program - December 5, 6:30 pm - Christmas presentation followed by Hors d'oeuvres and fellowship.
