Peace on Earth Good Will to Men

I heard the Bells on Christmas Day, these lyrics remind me how much I miss hearing church bells. One church still plays in a town nearby and every so often I travel to hear them at noon. The soothing pings cause me to slow down and sometimes draw me into the church. We're in modern times now, where church bells are far and few between, but thankfully the church is still here.
Church offers relationships, a place to belong and demonstrates where true hope can be found. In this age of fear and confusion, hope is a welcome gift. It's not found under the tree, but comes to reside in your heart when you seek it. Hope is a person. The person of Jesus Christ, who will one day bring peace on earth, but today offers good will to men. Knowing there is a plan and purpose makes life more meaningful. It helps us connect and live to bless others rather than focus on personal goals alone.
This Christmas season, why not find a church to visit on Christmas Eve. You may find it more soothing than you thought. And guess what? They're open every Sunday.
On behalf of Community Blend, Craig and I (Jewell) wish you peace and joy during this holiday season and throughout the New Year. The Merry of Christmas can stretch out all year when you welcome Christ into your heart.
If you do not have a church home, join us at The Chapel for a candlelight Christmas Eve service. Three Choices: Christmas Eve Eve - Dec 23 at 6:00 pm and Dec 24 at 4:00 and 6:00 pm
