We're home from an active vacation touring The Biltmore Estate and surrounding areas. The beauty of the gardens is inexplicable. God's creativity on display with every type of botanical imagined. Escaping the 95 degree weather, we found a shaded spot in the conservatory to rest. The birds basked in the well nurtured environment. I was able capture a hummingbird in flight. Then behold, right next to our table was an ornamental tree with a bird's nest hidden in the center. We enjoyed watching momma and papa take turns collecting food they deposited into the wide mouthed hatchlings. Even more spectacular was the plant that mimicked this picture of nature.
