The cold is here and the leaves are gone. As schedules expand and lists take shape, let the fun begin. It's an exciting time of year. Nothing beats the joy of this season with music, laughter, family, and celebrations. We kicked ours off with the Ladies Thankfulness Tea; a time to report on Community Blend and reflect on God's goodness in our lives.
The Ladies Tea received such a great response, we decided to make it an annual event. It's our way of pampering the women before their hustle and bustle begins. Over 70 attended, but 91 were registered to come. So we'll make a few tweaks, to this labor intensive program, and hopefully close that gap. All in all we were thrilled with the outcome and look forward to next year.
Upcoming Programs and Holiday Schedule
First Fridays ~Dec 2, 2022- 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. - We're happy to introduce a new program to include women who work during the day. Held on the first Friday of every month, this potluck supper will include fellowship and a light study/discussion. Visit our events page to let us know if you will attend.
Volunteer Dinner - We are excited to host our first Volunteer's Appreciation Dinner. This is a "by invitation" event. But if you are a volunteer and have not received your invitation for Dec 8th, please let us know. A glitch in the system has prevented some invitations from being seen.
Annual Bible Study Christmas party - this year we are changing things up a bit. We are including all three classes: Thursday a.m. study, Friday noon study, and Thursday evening study will all celebrate together on Dec 16, 2022, at noon. Music, food, fun. If you'd like to bring a dessert or appetizer, please let your group leader know.
The cafe is closed for Thanksgiving week. We will resume our regular schedule on Wednesday, Nov 30th, 2022.
No programs the week of Thanksgiving.
Bible Study - Thursday morn ladies, Thursday evening co-ed, Friday noon, will resume Dec.1st and 2nd.
Thursday evening co-ed study will not meet on Dec 8th due to the volunteer dinner. Your leader will let you know if she will hold class on Dec 15th.
Ladies Bible studies will only meet the first two weeks in Dec. The third week will be our combined Christmas party on Dec 16th at noon.
Cafe closed for Christmas Break starting Dec 17th. We will reopen on Jan 4th- no classes held during closed weeks.
Classes resume January 5 and 6, 2023.
