First Fridays and Upcoming Awareness Programs

Updated: May 2, 2023

Here's an odd occurrence. We are holding our May, First Fridays program, on the first Friday in May!! Why is that so odd? Because in the last two months we've had to hold our potluck on the second Friday. But, it was well attended and enjoyed by all.

In April, the director of Care Net Pregnancy Center in Hackettstown, informed the group about challenges the NJ centers are facing and their upcoming court appearance.

Join us on May 5, 2023, 6-9:00 PM for fellowship, food and a time of sharing. This is a great opportunity to spend an evening with a friend or neighbor. If you'd like to bring a dish, that's great. If time is short, no worries, there's always enough food. Just come and bring a smile. If you'd like to register and tell us what you are bringing, go to: perfectpotluck.com Coordinator: wells Password: comblend

You can also RSVP on the events page.

Also, you can look forward to our "Community Blend Awareness Series" The April program on Brain Development was such a success, we'll be bringing the Speaker back two more times. Everyone can benefit from this information.

We are in the process of scheduling:

Opioids Awareness with "Parent to Parent" in Washington - At this program you'll hear the heart wrenching stories of Debi Natale and Helen Carey, co-directors of ParenttoParent Addiction Services, opened in Warren County in 2014. Their program is based on the ParenttoParent, Inc. model that was founded over twenty years ago in South Jersey by four women, three of which lost their sons to heroin overdoses.

Pornography - Prevalent in all ages, social circles and genders, pornography is considered the new drug. This addition is as bad as heroin and leaves as many broken hearts in its wake. Learn what's going on.

**All of our programs will be on a Saturday, from 10:00-11:30 a.m., and will include a Q&A session. Whether for you or a friend, our stigma free programs welcome all for information and resources. Confidential follow-ups available.
