Let Freedom Ring

Freedom. May we not take it for granted. Our country, established on Christian principles, has enjoyed freedom in many areas. But today we are experiencing threats to our basic rights: speech, press, religion, arms, education, etc. Thankfully, there is a freedom that will never change.

True freedom is right, pure, and just. It’s the freedom that comes from a relationship with Christ. The Apostle Paul explains our freedom in 1 Corinthians saying, though all things are permissible (lawful), not all things are profitable (edifying). It’s important to make good decisions on our daily activities; what we watch, speak, and participate in.

Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault – What YOU need to know. Saturday, July 22, 10-11:30 a.m.

This workshop is for everyone. It’s important to lookout for the welfare of community members. In this workshop you’ll learn what’s going on right around us and how you can spot it and help. Join us and bring a friend. Refreshments provided.

The Developing Brain (part 2) – If you didn’t make the first session you won’t want to miss this one. Join us on August 26, 2023 – 10-11:30 am. Refreshments provided. Learn about the brain, why we react in certain ways, how to initiate a better response.

Dinner/Comedy Show – Sept 15, 6-9:00 pm. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner with humorist Sue Duffield. You’ll laugh so hard your stomach will hurt. Tickets are $20. Silent Auction & Community Blend Specialty Coffee for sale. The Community Blend annual dinner show is a way to offer the community an inexpensive fun night out. It’s also a time to learn about Community Blend and our mission to help others. Most importantly, it’s a way for you to help us, help others.
