LOTS!! We're gearing up for our annual golf outing. Enjoy a relaxing day of beautiful landscapes and mountainous terrains. If you haven't registered, it's TIME! Don't golf? Then enjoy a day of serenity at beautiful Architects Golf Club. Bring your work, a book or just relax and join us for lunch! Raffle items, baskets, door prizes and awards for all. Welcome Individuals and foursomes. LAST CALL!!
Community Blend is serving the community in a variety of ways.
Our cafe' has hosted many groups and walk-ins with coffee, goodies, books and a warm welcome. The most recent event was for developmentally challenged adults from Lee Services. We've hosted this group for four years monthly. But in May they present their annual play including lunch. It was a great day with 90 in attendance.
The Bible study groups are weeks away from their summer break. Each class will have a two week break and resume for the summer session with a substitute facilitator. Make sure to visit the events page for locations. We welcome all women.
But before we resume ... it's Partay Time! Join us June 13th at 6:30pm at The Chapel. We are serving submarine sandwiches and each class will provide the rest. Music, games, fellowship and our Special Speaker is a graduate of the Hoving Home. Her testimony is incredible, and her voice tops it all.
Line Dancing Summer session is July 12th from 10-11:45am. All ages welcome.
Community Blend Retreat - Oct 17-19 at Blue Mountain Christian Conference Center. This is a teambuilder for Community Blend volunteers, staff, donors and participants. We blend it all! Awesome worship, wonderful Speaker, and lots of time to relax in a beautiful mountainous resort.
Two Great Missions
Scholarship Fund - We are so grateful to offer several scholarships to students continuing their education. But shhh their names are secret until awards night at Warren Hills!
Single Parent and Senior Outreach - This is a creative program that began in January. Each month we choose one recipient to receive help from Community Blend. This can include financial help, housecleaning, organizing spaces, repairs, meals, or whatever they most need.
Both of these programs have met with great success! And we are grateful for the privilege of helping different groups in this way.
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people ... Galatians 6:10
